Based on the following outline write a project paper that will cover the following areas based on the above selected topic.

III. Deterrence theory as a practice theory - analyze its core principles, assumptions, scope, applications, intervention strategies.
IV. Comparison of assumptions of deterrence theory and its underlying philosophical paradigm - Practical intervention, philosophical principles, criticisms
V. The validation and methods used on the theory.
VI. Generalization on the merits of Deterrence theory as a practical theory.
VII. Implications on the theory generation and validation.
VII. Conclusion.

e. What is the scientific base of the intervention strategiesw of this practice theory? In other vwords, what bodies of knowledge are used to derive its interventions?
f. What is the underlying philosophical paradigm of the practice theory? Why do you think is the philosophical paradigm underlying this theory? Link the major assumptions of the theory and how they go about testing or building theory to the assumptions of the philosophical paradigm. summarize the major assumptions of the philosophical paradigm and tie them back to the historical evolution of the theory.
g. Discuss the scope of practice theory and its appropriateness for theory building and validation. How accurate is the theory in explaining phenomenon?
