Something I Wish I Hadn’t Done               At some time in our lives, we do something or fail to do something which we regret for the rest of our lives. We regret these things but cannot do anything about it since they have already passed by. And so we learn how to best live with it, and thankfully we are able to overcome the problems that come with these things. Over time, we forget that we once did or fail to do such things. Our lives become so perfect that it is hard to imagine that once we did something that we wish we hadn’t done. Yet, sometimes, we look back and think of the ‘what ifs’ and ‘if only.’ Even if at present our lives are almost perfect, we can’t help but stop and wonder – what if I hadn’t done it?             There are many things that I wish I had not done in the past. Some of them are unavoidable and some of them are simply whims, a passing impulse which we later regret. Some have left marks in our lives while some we barely remember. For this paper, I will chose a situation which I wish I had not done yet the impact of doing it had made me realize many things and in a way had made me a better person. Something I wish I hadn’t done is stop school for a couple of years. I might still be in school right now, but the time wasted for not going to school for a few years are times which are wasted. It was not because of lack of money or support which made me stop school. It was not because of bad grades or a slow mind either. It was simply that I came to a point where I felt I am already tired of school. I have been in school ever since preparatory. Upon reaching college, I felt like I’ve had enough of school. I thought what I had studies is enough for me to survive in the real world.             My parents and my friends did not want me to stop school. But once I made up my mind about something, nothing could stop me. And so there was nothing they could do but watch me make a fool of myself. I, on the other hand, never thought I am in for a surprise. I was very sure I would succeed in this chosen path of mine.             And so when I stopped going to school, at my parent’s disappointment, I started looking for a job. I would buy newspapers and surf the net to search for a job that I like. I submitted my application letters and resumes to various companies. Some of them contacted me, but none really did hire me, for the very reason that I have not finished school.             I realized that I could get a job even without a degree, but it would not be a job that I would totally like. Nor would it be a job which could make my family and friends like. I realized that for me to get a better job or a job that I would like, I have to go back to school.             After a year, I went back to my parents and asked them to send me back to school. It was just my unlucky streak that at that time, my mother had to undergo a heart operation and so there was little money left in the family. Much as my parents would want to send me to school, it wasn’t the right time. My parents told me that I had to wait for a few months until they could save money again and send me to school.             I didn’t lose my temper and I didn’t hate my parents for it. I understood the situation and in a way I brought this upon myself. So instead of staying home and become much f a burden to my parents, I started to keep looking for a job again. I was willing to work for any kind of job as long as I will have my own money and will not be dependent on my parents, knowing that they too are in need of money.             I did get a job, but not one that I really liked. I waited at a restaurant just to earn my keep. It was not a bad job and I did enjoy it. I did not take the job for granted and in fact did my best while I was working there. I made a lot of friends and I learned a lot from that experience. However, I cannot help but think I could have gotten a much better job if I went and finished school.             After a few months, my parents informed me that they could send me back to school. Somehow, everything figured out well at home. My mother was recovering well and my parents have been able to save enough money for themselves and for my education. I was really so happy and could not thank my parents enough for giving me another chance at school.             When I went back to school, I was like a new person. After being through the different experiences I had encountered while out of school, I was able to see and appreciate the value of education. I did my best in school and my parents were proud of me. After graduating from college, I was able to get a good job. I could say that I would not have been here if not for the experience that I had. In a way, it had made me strive for more in my life, knowing that many others out there are sadly not able to get a good education.             While I was working and earning a good salary, I also decided to take up further education. One could say that higher education has kept getting higher. And I do not mean the price of education. I meant education itself. At first we thought that getting a high school education is enough. But no, it is not enough. And so we go to college. After getting a college degree, and we get a job, we realize that it still isn’t enough. We get a good job, but a promotion or a raise requires something more. You realize that you need to get continuing education. You need to get a Master’s degree or a Doctorate degree.             In a way, the thing that I wish I had not done is the thing that made me realize how important education is for one to survive and succeed in our world. I wish I had not stopped school, but then perhaps the experience was meant to happen so that I would realize the value of education.

Personal Code of Ethics and My Strategic Plan   Mission Statement   As a woman of an accounting profession, my mission entails the promotion to live a purposeful life that would be filled with meaning not just for the benefit of oneself but for others as well.  With the best of my knowledge I intend to serve the community through sharing my knowledge and the blessings that I have especially to the less fortunate such that I will be able to touch their lives in my own special way.  I will lead by example in accordance to my ethical principles and the core values I hold on as I go through the journey of life.  As part of this mission, I want to leave a legacy that I am a woman of commitment and integrity.   Core Values   Values serves as my guiding light in being able to carry out the ideals that I believe in life.  From the abyss of values cradles the core values I want to incorporate with my everyday as part in fulfilling the mission that I have made.  The values of Integrity, Independence, Fairness, Respect Honesty, Loyalty, Dependability, Confidentiality and Hard-work are among the values that are central and the focal point to the belief system I firmly believe in.       Personal Code of Ethics   In lieu to my mission statement wherein I want to promote a purposeful life, the primary purpose of my personal code of ethics is to inspire me to be the best person I can be to others and to myself.  The personal code of ethics will mold me to be a better person to the community and the society that I belong into.  Life would be dull unless you put meaning to it, by the personal code of ethics I will embrace the essential meaning of my existence and makes me able to partake to the obligations I want to return to the community and the society in general in which I owe something and as one of the many reasons that made me whole.               Drawing inspirations to the people that surround me and in which I get to have a connection with, whether good or bad, pain or in comfort, the experiences I have with them contributes to the essence of what makes me as a person.  Indeed, personal experiences are the best teacher in life, either you learn it from the hard way or easy way, the important thing is you learned something that is not being taught in school or anywhere else that eventually would make you a strong person in the process.  Among the things that they see of me that correspond with my self-concept are that I am a person of trustworthiness, possess good interpersonal skills (developed as part of my profession in dealing with other people), the value of confidentiality that I rightfully adhere as a sign of my respect for every client I get to have business with and that I am dependable with the responsibilities being asked of me.  The strongest point I consider that I possess is that I am being the real me.  Not building a façade when I am in front of other people has equipped to make a genuine and sincere connection with others in a personal level rather than impersonally. The strengths that I have will empower me; at the same time improving on my weaknesses will make me become a better person in the future.  The challenges of everyday is not just about achievements but it is knowing that you did something right cultivates within the person an internal good feeling of himself or herself, thus, fostering a well-being of a person.   I have always believed that being good to others even though they have not been good to you is a tough challenge to deal with.  However, retaliating of being bad to the people who have done you wrong will not do anything good as well. Just like the people who done you wrong, you are being good to yourself.  As what a God says in the bible, “If they throw you with stones, throw bread back at them.”  Similarly, I believe that respect is often demanded especially to people who are in higher status.  But I stand on my belief that respect is something earned and not asked.  In fact, showing more respect to people who live life with dignity amidst the intricate problems that engulfs them is deemed more appropriate than respecting the people who exploits their power and influence.

Mao Zedong   Mao Zedong              (Mao Tse-tung) [mow’ zay-dong’] founded the People’s Republic of China in 1949. Along with the founders of the Han and Ming dynasties, he was one of only three peasants who rose to rule all of China in a single lifetime, and he led perhaps the greatest social revolution in human history. He gave theoretical legitimacy to the continuation of class struggle in the socialist and communist stages of development and is regarded, along with Karl Marx and V. I. Lenin, as one of the three great theorists of Marxian communism.   Early life. Mao was born on Dec. 26, 1893, into a well-to-do peasant family in Hunan province. It was in this setting that a young Mao forged his character against the strong will of his father, a man who ruled his house with an iron fist and often clashed with his headstrong son (, 1998). From 1911, the year that the republican forces of Sun Yat-Sen launched the overthrow of the Qing (or Manchu) dynasty, Mao spent most of ten years in the provincial capital, where he was exposed to the rapid political changes sweeping the country and served briefly in the republican army. By 1918 he had gone to Beijing, where he worked briefly as a library assistant at Beijing University. It may be partly due to his relative poverty during his student years that he never identified completely with cosmopolitan bourgeois intellectuals. He did establish contact with intellectual radicals who later figured prominently in the Chinese Communist Party. In 1919, Mao returned to Hunan, where he engaged in radical political activity while supporting himself as primary-school principal.             In 1920, Mao married Yang Kaihui, the daughter of one of his teachers. Yang Kaihui was executed by the Chinese nationalists in 1930. In that year Mao married He Zizhen, who accompanied him on the Long March. Mao divorced her (1937), and in 1939 he married Jiang Qing.             When the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) was organized in Shanghai in 1921, Mao was a founding member and leader of the Hunan branch. At this stage the new party formed a united front with Sun Yat-Sen’s Kuomintang (Guomindang). Mao worked in Shanghai, Hunan, and Guangzhou, concentrating variously on labor organization, party organization, propaganda, and the Peasant Movement Training Institute.             Conflict with the Nationalist. In the 1920's, Mao was not the most important Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leader, but his report in 1927 was an accurate assessment of rural poverty and its potential as a catalyst for social revolution. This essay includes one of Mao’s famous maxims: "Revolution is not a dinner party;" and Mao as a serious revolutionary, defended the necessity and appropriateness of revolutionary violence (, 2003). In the summer of 1934, Mao had an opportunity to test the army's bond with the people, when, surrounded by nationalist forces, he decided that his beleaguered troops would have to slip through enemy lines and make their way to a more secure area. What followed was the Long March, perhaps the single most epic undertaking of the Civil War period and a major element in the formation of Mao’s mythical revolutionary career (, 2000).             When the Japanese invasion of 1937 forced the CCP and the Kuomintang once again to form a united front, the Communists gained legitimacy as defenders of the Chinese homeland. Mao rose in stature as a national leader and established himself as a military theorist and important Marxist thinker. By placing the peasantry at the center of the revolutionary process and challenging the Leninist persuasion and that of other revolutionary Marxists that the peasants occupied a secondary position to that of the industrial proletariat within the revolution, Mao struck at both the elitist assumptions of Leninism and the bureaucratic arrogance of Stalinism. Coupled with his insistence that the revolution must always combat revisionism and never cut itself off from the masses, these ideological differences defined the fundamental differences separating Maoism and Leninism. The same can be said for differences in military strategy Mao, for example, allied with the peasants to win over the countryside, encircle the cities, and seize the political victory, while Lenin encouraged the urban industrial proletariat to seize the cities, fashion a revolutionary army, and extend the revolution to the countryside (, 2000).   China’s Leader. The soundness of Mao’s self-reliance and rural guerrilla strategies was proved by the CCP’s rapid growth during the Yenan period. The shaky truce between the Communists and the Nationalists broke down at the end of the war, and civil war erupted. By 1949, Chiang’s government fled to Taiwan, leaving the People’s Republic of China, formed by the Communists in 1949, in control of the Chinese mainland.             When Mao’s efforts to open relations with the United States in the late 1940s were rebuffed, he allied himself with the USSR. The Korean War deepened hostility to the United States. During the early 1950s, Mao served as chairman of the CCP, chief of state, and chairman of the military commission. His uniqueness as a leader is evident from his commitment to continued class struggle under socialism, which led him to take a number of unusual initiatives in the late 1950s. In the Hundred Flowers movement of 1956-57 he encouraged intellectuals to make constructive criticism of the party, which revealed deep hostility to CCP leadership. By 1957, Mao was the supreme leader and ideological mentor (, 2003). At about the same time, Mao called for the elimination of the last vestiges of rural private property and the formation of people’s communes, and for rapid industrial growth through a program known as the Great Leap Forward. The suddenness of these moves led to administrative confusion and popular resistance, while adverse weather resulted in severe flood shortages. As a consequence, Mao lost his position as a chief of state and found his influence over the party severely curtailed.             During the 1960s Mao made a comeback, attacking the party leadership and the new chief of state, Liu Shao-Qi, through a Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution, which peaked from 1966 to 1969 and was largely orchestrated by Mao’s wife, Jiang Qing. As events threatened to get out of hand, Mao was obliged to rely increasingly on the military, led by Lin Biao, who was named as Mao’s successor in 1969. By 1971, however, Lin was reported to have died in a plane crash after having plotted to assassinate Mao, who was once more firmly in control. During the Cultural Revolution, Mao’s sayings (printed in a little red book) and buttons bearing his image were widely distributed, his word was considered ultimate authority, and his person was the subject of ecstatic adulation, although Mao continued to state his belief in the Leninist notion of collective party leadership. Mao came to view war as "the highest form of struggle for resolving contradictions . . . between classes, nations, states, or political groups.” Within the ranks of the army he pursued similar goals of socialist reconstruction by sharing a common, spartan lifestyle with his troops and introducing new democratic values by abolishing "the feudal practice of bullying and beating" troops of inferior rank. The youthful composition and democratic character of the army reinforced the unconventional image of happy, energetic soldiers radiating self-confidence, marching in unison, and singing enthusiastically to maintain the pace and sustain their revolutionary morale. Indeed, what emerged from this unorthodox approach was not the image of an army sparkling in spit and polish but an impression better suited to "a prep school on a holiday excursion (, 2000). Throughout his life Mao never deviated in his commitment to learn from the masses; nor did he ever compromise his respect for their revolutionary spirit or underestimate the risk of isolating the leadership from their support. Viewing the masses as "the real heroes" of the revolution, he stressed the need to engage them in regular consultations and have the army become "one with the people" to ensure its invincibility and the defeat of Japan. Toward the end of his life, Mao stated that the world’s states were divided into three groups: the underdeveloped nations, the developed nations, and the two superpowers (the United States and the USSR). This analysis underscored China’s position as a leader of the Third World and helped to rationalize a rapprochement with the United States. In 1972, Mao lent his prestige to this policy change by receiving U.S. President Richard M. Nixon in Beijing.             Mao himself had something to say on the subject of his own posterity. He too easily protested that he was waiting to see God. As a casual Daoist philosopher he cheerfully welcomed the flux of the universe. At times he seemed not to care about history. There were also times when he manipulated history on the self-conscious basis of "taking the past to serve the present" (yi gu wei jin), but, as a revolutionary, Mao was not interested in "disparaging the present by extolling the past" (yi gu fei jin). Perhaps one of the most intriguing questions of modern Chinese politics is how Mao, as one of the greatest revolutionaries of the twentieth century, could rationalize his own personality cult since it was rooted in a presumably reactionary tradition of emperor worship (, 2004). Mao died in Beijing on Sept. 9, 1976 at age 82, having led China through war, man-made famines that killed tens of millions and the political violence of the 1966-76 Cultural Revolution, which scarred a generation. Although he was criticized after his death for the failure of his economic policies and the revolutionary excesses of his later years, his basic foreign policy was continued and his theories remained influential in the Third World. But time has mellowed Mao's image, and today he is an object of widespread nationalistic admiration as a wily guerrilla commander and the creator of modern China. His philosophy, a hodgepodge of cryptic aphorisms and can-do exhortations known simply as "Mao Zedong Thought," is inscribed in the constitution and a required course for college students.             Celebrated at home and abroad as an inspirational revolutionary figure, a heroic military leader, and a utopian visionary, Mao’s political stature and historical legacy are clearly enormous. By stressing the need for direct contact between the people and the government, he authored a new people-centered approach to resolving China's problem of agrarian modernization. But unlike Stalin, who abandoned the peasants in favor of rapid industrialization, Mao embraced the peasantry and emphasized the importance of mass psychic involvement in recasting China's economy. His policies did, however, suffer from certain endemic inconsistencies, as he frequently vacillated between the more traditional methods of government experts and the more unorthodox contribution of peasants in the countryside. His approach, however, was truly remarkable in that it enabled the Chinese people to draw upon their own resources and initiative in pursuit of an industrial breakthrough with only minimal help or assistance from the outside world.                 In formulating his own political thought, Mao was also able to disseminate a revolutionary political doctrine, which originated from within one of the most backward corners of the world. His role as the architect of a people's war of liberation, which combined social revolution and a prolonged national struggle against foreign oppression, spread throughout Asia, as was graphically demonstrated by the Vietnam War. But of all his contributions, the one that may persist the longest is his concept of total revolution, of the need to remake the individual as a whole and imbue that individual with a complete, unconditional revolutionary vision, grounded in personal sacrifice and total ideological commitment (, 2000). Although Mao at first borrowed economic theory from the Soviets, he increasingly mixed it with his own beliefs and whims. The peace dividend at first brought China progress, but soon the inefficiencies of Communist economics and Maoist theories slowed development (, 1998). No person in history has had more power over more people than Mao Zedong, and no one shaped the destiny of an Asian nation so completely and for so long.                   References

WHY HEALTH IS IMPORTANT TO ME?

WHY HEALTH IS IMPORTANT TO ME?         I believe this has been the question I have often neglected when I was a child but now I’m an adult I have realized the importance of health as one of the most valuable part of my life because now I understand that everyone including me will soon suffer the consequence and danger of irresponsible lifestyle. Nobody is exempted from sickness and incurable disease it will come unexpectedly when someone never tried to stop their bad unhealthy habit.  There are many other peers and relatives that I often met and never stop their habit of drinking and smoking or drugs; soon their bodies weakens, slowly they are like perishing candles, they grow old fast and worst they carry on a disease without a cure they can no longer work or maintain back their good life. Now all this have prevented me to do such unhealthy habits although some parts of my works include things that cannot be prevented so I make sure I relax a few minutes or rest a while after too much exposure on a computer.       Today health is very important part of my life because I don’t want to suffer from all this debilitating disease I simply want to live a healthier life, live longer and stay fit. I also realized that health can never be measured when and where it is going to happen but a rich and abundant lifestyle prepared me to be strong and healthy physically and mentally. These two things always come hand in hand. I also believe that people who have a healthy lifestyle is wiser just like saving money in the bank. This condition should be brought to the whole family. I believe a healthy lifestyle is very important in my life because I have also planted a seed of wisdom to prevent many things including stress free life, diseases, accidents etc. and most of all I still look young like I always do.       To keep myself healthy I do simple exercise like jogging, brisk walking, cycling and other physical activities at least twice or thrice a week early in the morning. This has definitely change my life I have become more energetic and stronger, drinking large amount of water and sleeping at least eight hours a day gives me a pleasant outlook in life and it freshens me everyday. If I feel some physical problem I never self medicate, I see to it that I visit my doctor for check up, I never worry too much about things that never happen and most of all I always pray to God that he give me strength and healthy body to face all the challenges in life. All this things makes me healthy and happy.           Health is wealth and people who prefer to live a healthy life are an open secret they are probably the most successful people on earth if they have achieved such conditions. Personally the first and foremost things I never neglected are to eat only the healthiest food including natural fruits and vegetables, this two alone has made me healthier and feeling young. Meat and pork should only be taken gradually at least a few grams. There are so many foods available today that is so enticing to buy, the good old commercials never stop pushing people but I dare not eat such junk food and drink neither alcohol nor smoke. Things like this have always been the cause of too much disease and death of people so I see to it that I threw it and save more money.        My uncle use to drink all kinds of liquor during his 20’s now that he is in his 40’s he can never drink wine or any other liquor because he has been hospitalized for at least a month and has gone through Gallbladder surgery. Kristel is also an old acquaintance a food lover he eats too much chocolate, junk food and occasionally she also drink liquor, take illegal drugs and smoke frequently after a few years she is so obese she has lost her proportioned body he also had a heart problem and tumor diagnosed by her doctor but she never listened. After a few more years she died in a lung cancer. My father use to smoke at least two or three cigarettes a day while our neighbor can even pull at least 5 to 10 cigarettes a day after about ten years of smoking my father now has diabetes while our neighbor have tuberculosis and both of them are diagnosed to stop their smoking habit or this may lead to a severe health problem. What the Constitution Means To Me   There are three ways to define a “constitution.” In one context, it may be defined as the manner on which political bodies are placed together. Another definition is an allocation of powers and rights in a written document.  Similarly, it is also taken as a referent for disputes. (Peaslee, 1985) In one sense the "constitution" of a political body is simply a way of stating how the body is put together. It is how the body is actually "constituted." In this sense every political body, and accordingly every state, has a constitution. A person or institution within the state who effectively exercises a certain kind of power has such power because of the constitution of that state. If some document states that the power lies elsewhere, then the document is to that extent not the constitution as so defined, since the document does not accurately reflect how the state is actually constituted. In another commonly used sense, a "constitution" is simply a document that allocates powers and rights in a political body. Thus, there are works that compile constitutions of the world: works that are collections of such documents. (Blaustein and Flanz, 1971) Amendments to a constitution are amendments to the document. A constitution consists of words in articles and amendments. Finally, we can think of a constitution as a kind of fundamental political agreement. The elements of a political society that hold power agree that decisions will be made in a certain way, by certain officials, institutions, or bodies. The terms of the agreement may be written or not. The agreement may be changed by express or implicit agreement. The agreement may be abolished or superseded by express or implicit agreement. Moreover, the agreement may be violated, even repeatedly. But as long as such an agreement serves as a fundamental referent for disputes among the elements that have power in the political society, one can speak of it as a constitution. 5 Best Skin Care Products I have ever Used             Many women spend a lot of time on searching for the best products for their skin. They try this product and that product and almost everything out in the market, and almost everything they’ve seen on television advertisements. Those advertisements are way too persuasive that women get impulsive on buying those products, when sometimes, not even realizing if that certain product match her skin type.             Skin often makes a statement of beauty to every individual. Both men and women invest on their skin in order to look good. If you also noticed, those individuals who do not really have perfect features of their faces but have the perfect skin really look good, especially in person. They just look so clean and soft when we see their face as blemish-free, pimple-free, and oil-free. Skin should really be something to be treated.             When I was in my adolescence, I tried using products that have good advertisements, but I soon found out that those products don’t really do good in my skin. They do a good job in other girls’ faces but, not to my face. So, as I become more mature, I realized that it’s better to use the products which I’ve used for a certain period of time and really did my skin wonders.             However, I do not try a lot of products and I do not buy those products that I could not afford with my allowance in college. So, I only invest on soaps and facial wash.             I have been always been an enthusiast of Silka Papaya Soap. During my swimming days, I was very worried of being too burnt by the sun and won’t be able to take away the tan lines easily. The swimming pool in our university where we used to have swimming classes is not covered so, the sun shines directly to our skin during our 9-11am swimming classes. Just imagine how hot it is. And so, I looked into some whitening soaps in the supermarket and finally picked Silka out of those. That’s the start of me using Silka as my bath soap. Though it does not do magic, it really helped me restore my natural skin color faster than any other whitening soap. To complete the whitening regimen, I also used Silka Whitening Lotion so as to moisturize my skin. After we had the swimming classes, Silka was definitely able to remove my tan lines faster compared to my classmates who also use other whitening products. And, it does not peel off my skin, it works gently. Until now, I still use the same skin products and was able to reveal a naturally glowing white skin. Of course, I couldn’t just leave my face having no moisturizer after using soap. So, I discovered other products that worked on me best on my face: the St. Ives Facial Wash and Make-up remover with moisturizer and also the St. Ives Apricot Scrub. I really love these products because they are very gentle on skin. The facial wash and make-up remover is not scented, unlike the scrub which the fragrance captivates me. The facial wash plus moisturizer cleans my face so gently that I felt nothing after I wash my face but the feeling of freshness and clean face. It leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized but without the harsh job on my face. The St. Ives Apricot Scrub, because of the nature of its name, it scrubs off the dirt left on the face. It feels a little numbing after washing but I feel so refreshed and my face feels so smooth!             I also use Eskinol Classic Whitening Facial Cleanser when I could not wash my face with water and soap/ facial wash. I use it whenever my eyes are tired from reading or viewing that I could not just get my eyes wet immediately then. It removes excess dirt from my face and make me feel refreshed.             One of the skin products that I am not really afraid of in inventing is the lotion. I do not use the same brand of lotion every time. I use Vaseline, Silka, Skin So Soft randomly. All these brands do good in my skin, I feel moisturized and soft all over after applying it to my arms and legs. These lotions do not leave me a greasy feeling unlike other lotion brands. Although I sweat, Silka, Vaseline, and Skin So Soft do not make me feel slimy but just make me feel moisturized. They do not leave me skin right after application too, they stay in my skin as long as the whole busy day and make me feel no dry skin throughout the day.             I have used a lot of foundations already and I would say that one of the best and most affordable foundations that I’ve ever used is the Fashion 21 foundation. It hides unwanted marks on my face and evens out my skin tone. It does a great job on my face as a make-up at an affordable price. 10 things that annoy you, explain why             Like all other people, I also have several likes and dislikes in a person and in situations. And, just like other individuals and female entities, we may consider very similar things that we dislike which eventually annoy us.             Back to my high school days, gossips are everywhere. And, they’re treated like the most precious things in the world when you get the most of the latest issues. And, it annoys me most when people, who do not even know me well, make such issues that could really make a reputation. What makes it annoying is that gossips are naturally made to make a really bad reputation in a large public. I find it hard to believe that people, even as young as high schoolers could spread rumors that are delicately analyzed in order to make you look odd in front and behind most people. In the end, it indeed sucks when you could do nothing but to almost hold a campaign for people to believe that everything were only woven stories that do not have anything to do but destroy you.             I also find it hard to believe that even our blood-related fellas are one of the most annoying persons in our life. But, they are. I’m sure most of you affirm this too. Families just have that kind of bonding over years that make each of its members believe that he/ she can say and do anything towards another family member. Especially in my case with my only sibling, my brother. There’s no time in our life when we’re together that we do not fight. We say the meanest words to each other and none of us both lowers his or her pride. But, when we part ways, we miss those quarreling and shouting days with each other.             Another annoying thing is when I am stuck inside the dorm, inside a four-walled room. Having no television, a one-third screen laptop, and nothing more. It’s boring and annoying at the same time. It felt like I’m imprisoned.             I hate it when my best friend is being too honest. Can she just spare me some consideration and think first before she says the truth on how to deliver the lines? It’s not the honesty that really hurts, it’s the way she says it. I’d love to hear the truth (although it hurts most of the time), but it makes a difference when the words are delivered carefully and sympathetically.             It’s annoying when my boyfriend always hurries to leave for home and reasons out that he’s been expected to arrive early by his mother. It’s kind of weird because unlike other guys, he wants to be home early. I like the idea that he’s being a good son but why does that sound weird? Because he’s already an adult for heaven’s sake but he still couldn’t make up his own excuses rather than using his moment order to get rid of some situations. His reasons are often; “because my mother said…””because my mom told me to…” It only makes him look like a mama’s boy, and it’s embarrassing.             It annoys me when I couldn’t make it to the top. Unlike everyone, I always want to be the best among the rest and it’s so hard for me to accept failure. It’s annoying and very much frustrating when I’ve done so much in order to get to the top and be the best, but in the end, I am the loser. So, I’m way too annoyed to those spotlight-stealers especially when they act as if they were the ones who worked hard for it, while I were the one who really deserve the appreciation.             Individuals who are underminers are very much annoying. They are very sarcastic, they say nice words out of a very mean intention. Of course, for a person who has some brain, you would know that he/ she meant the other way around. Underminers are almost equivalent as the plastics, but I would admit that I am more annoyed to the latter (at least, the underminers are easier to judge).             It’s annoying when somebody thinks that I am stupid and that all I have is the good looks (thank you for the compliment). But I think it’s better to be treated as an ugly duckling than be treated that you know nothing but being dolled up. When in fact I have really have better ideas than those intelligent-acting individuals who know nothing but be so traditional.             It’s annoying to see couples who are doing PDA (public display of attention). Other couples couldn’t even help themselves even if they are in the church attending the Mass. It’s a holy act, so it’s very excruciating to see those kinds of deeds in those kinds of places. Sometimes I want to ask them why did they still come to church when in fact, all they want to do is let their hormones rush into their veins and do everything they wanted, why didn’t they just get a room?             Of course, it’s annoying when things don’t work the way you’ve planned or had expected them to be. I do not want to end having so much frustrations but I can’t help it when things don’t end up the way we want them to be.             In the end, these annoying things would just stress us and these make lines in our face. So, instead of being annoyed and analyze why things work out that way, it’s better to sit in a corner, have your best dessert or have a sip of coffee with a food buddy, then discuss the problem. If there seems to be no way of solving the problem, then just end the conversation and laugh it out.
