Abstract

The paper proposes to explore the dynamic and nature of patient education pertaining to patient management. Relaying of information about how a patient can possibly manage the pain is administered prior to conduction the operation. Therefore, there is a need to determine the process of providing information on pain control for patients and then assess whether the process is relevant and effective. In particular, the research will initially focus on the different information that the patient should receive and how to make sense of these information. While the former happens pre-operatively, the latter could be only determined in the post-operative stage.
