Just like most of all prehistoric cave art, these three pieces depict or portrays the lives of people at that period of time. This means that whatever happened during the everyday life of these people who made these pieces of art, are shown on the paintings, sculptures and whatever piece they make. Their culture and way of life is the main theme in most of the cave arts. Now since this type of art is associated with a certain type of age of man then we can say that the theory about man being a hunter-gatherer at this certain age in history is further reinforced by the pictures and paintings found in the caves. These pieces of art contain images of bisons, horses, bulls, boars and other animals so we could say that these were the common things that they dealt with during that time. Its either they hunted them or domesticated them but it seemed more likely the first than the second. Majority of the images portray these animals out in the open or being chased or even being hunted rather than them being in a farm or being utilized by man to work for him. It usually shows animals chased by man or sought after by man.

Going to the three pieces, we can say that the rhino was one of the animals that these men encountered more frequently than the others.  A rhino is a big animal and since they hunted for a group of people and not just for themselves, people at that time usually hunt big animals like bisons and bulls and sometimes horses. A depiction of a wounded man might suggest that during the course of hunting these animals, some of them get wounded too and join the number of casualties of hunting at that time. It also shows that man is not that invincible when it comes to these animals that they kill and it may suggest that man is as vulnerable as these animals that they considered as game. The disemboweled bison further reinforces the theory of what kind of society man lived in at that time. They killed for their society to have food and these acts of disembowelment had a purpose. They had to take care of the meat they have gathered and they had to do whatever necessary steps they knew at that time to make their food last as long as it could.

We could say that the art form had a sense or a touch of realism since it shows images or what seemed like, images of real life. It also is narrative in a sense since it tells stories about the people who painted them since some images are sequential. The first one is the elements and descriptions that, from the general awareness of topic, area, or issue of concern that you think you are going to have to take into consideration the pictures of Paleolithic art shows (1959). Social imagination is essential because it permits to grasp biography and history, and the relations between them within the theory, and this is its task and its assurance. Moreover, it allows its holder to comprehend the larger historical scene in terms of its definition for the internal life and the exterior career of diversity in art.
