The need to utilize both primary as well as secondary approach in order to present better hypothesis and model in accordance to literature base and conduction of research methodology.

Problem of statement

Several issues may hamper this research, such as problems of availability towards academic accepted research regarding women entrepreneurship and its entrepreneurs in Malaysian context. Several issues concerning to research tools as well as materials for analysis varies and probably there can be lack of updated research underpinnings, domains as well as literature studies dealing to women entrepreneurship, as search parameters will have to be sources published from the year 2000 up to present. In addition, there may have limitations on methodology administration, time allocation for gathering data along with desired number of respondents and tools to integrate may impose problems if not handled and used according to research standards and criteria for inclusion/exclusion.

Significant of research

The research will be significant to individuals, groups of people who are inclined in the area of entrepreneurship such as undergraduate/graduate students having entrepreneurship subjects or classes, as well as to entrepreneurship consultants and experts mostly catering to business owners, executives and managers preferably women entrepreneurs of today’s generation be it in small scale or large scale enterprise. Also, significant to government systems and authorities as government economy is nothing without entrepreneurship process and women in business nowadays is a growing reality and Malaysia is no exception for it.

Brief literature review

There are several women entrepreneurs as entrepreneurship emerges from individual’s creative spirit into long term business ownership, job creation as well as economic security also women bring commitment and integrity because they care for economic empowerment, entrepreneurial development and innovation (Jalbert (2000 p. 9) Thus, Jalbert (2000 p. 23) have noted “entrepreneurship as a personal, subjective process, to become an entrepreneur is evolution of encountering and reacting to series of experiences, situations and events produced by salient changes, as women who own and operate business are not a homogeneous group. Aside, believe that cultural and social patterns prescribe whether one woman can become entrepreneur within her society or not. Some constraints are obvious; others are disguised in patriarchal heritage within cultures that preclude female entrepreneurship (Jalbert (2000 p. 24). Women’s entrepreneurship has been recognized as important untapped source of economic growth. Women entrepreneurs create new jobs for themselves and others and by being different also provide society with different solutions to management, organization and business problems as well as to the exploitation of entrepreneurial opportunities. However, there exists a market failure discriminating against women’s possibility to become entrepreneurs and their possibility to become successful entrepreneurs. Recent efforts initiated by OECD (2000) are responses to lack of knowledge and have focused the attention of policy makers and researchers. Moreover, Jalbert (2000 p. 8) indicated, “women’s business associations play role in identifying appropriate sectors where women entrepreneurs can succeed as areas that are to take off quickly during nation’s market revitalization are public relations, producing and marketing consumer goods, commercial banking, financial services and other service-related industries”. Further noted that, “women business owners are innovators, job creators and providers of economic security as women can also supply multinational companies with ideas, inventions, technology, components and business services (Jalbert, 2000 p. 8).

Hypothesis and model

The using of Malaysian based model of entrepreneurship analyses why women’s entrepreneurship is still untapped economic resource. The model will have to identify history and culture determined framework conditions affecting entrepreneurship and idiosyncratic prior experiences of enterprising individuals and potentially enterprising individuals. The model assume changes in demand conditions, create opportunities that are not obvious to everyone, but are discovered and exploited because some individuals have an advantage in discovering specific opportunities. In addition, to investigate and bring in report facing women’s entrepreneurship when engaged in the entrepreneurial process, such as the lack of role model, social position as well as financial access (Stoyanovska, 2001). In order to provide accurate measures on women’s entrepreneurship, certain hypothesis is needed to imply along with such model structure as below: H1) Research analysis on women entrepreneurship aspects and processes H2) Research analysis on women entrepreneurs being at front height success in entrepreneurship assumptions and context
