            Philippine Institute of Quezon City was established through the united efforts of dedicated visionaries of the Filipino-Chinese Chamber of commerce of quezon City (FCCCQC) who made possible the dream to serve the Chinese_Filipino community of Quezon City, with its neighboring cities, in molding the future of our country.  This dream came to fulfillment in 1964 under the chairmanship of Mr. Alfredo matti. Since then, the objective of giving Quezon City Chinese youth the opportunity to study Chinese literature and moral values from Pre-Nursery to High School level was met.

 

Vision

            The Philippine Instittue of Quezon City aims to be center of excellence in arts and sciences and the first Chinese-Filipino Science School which:

   P – promotes the development of a well_rounded and creative individual

   I – instills the values of love for God, family, school, community and country

  Q – quests for academic excellence (both in the arts and sciences), skills

         development and critical judgment

   C – cultivate the inherent uniqueness of the Filipino-Chinese heritage and

         culture

 

Mission

            The school exists to nurture the physical, intellectual, emotional, social, moral, ethical and spiritual growth of her students.

            As an academic institution, it shall provide for the advancement of knowledge, skills and competencies preparing the individual for higher education.

            As a learning organization, its members are committed to the acquisition, growth and continues development of the expertise and to the ideals of the professional virtue.

            As a social entity, it shall exist in partnership with the family, the community, the society and the country. PIQC shall inculcate strong of family values and responsibility, advocates socio-civic consciousness and actions, and trains the individual for citizen and global competitiveness.

            As a cultural conservatory, it commits to serve the Filipino-Chinese community by promoting and preserving its unique heritage.

Enrollment:  2nd week of May

 

Admission Requirements

• Photocopy of birth certificate

• F-138 (duly signed by the principal of previous school)

• 4 pcs. Recent 1”x1” picture

• certificate of immunization

 

Additional requirements for alien or foreign students

• Alien certificate of registration or

• Immigrant certificate of registration

• Photocopy of passport indicating type of visa given
